Solution to WP config php failed to open stream permission denied error

If we get the error wp-config.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in Wordpress, we need to check the permissions of the wp-config.php file.

Got error 'PHP message: PHP Warning: require_once(/home/../public_html/wp-config.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/../public_html/wp-load.php on line 37 \nPHP message: PHP Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/../public_html/wp-config.php' (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php-fpm56/usr/lib/php ') in /home/../public_html/wp-load.php on line 37\n'

If the permissions of the wp-config.php file are restricted, we need to change it to 644. Below is an example.

chmod 644 wp-config.php
