Preventing the Use of the Shutdown Command
To prevent the shutdown command, simply enter the following command on the command line.
nano /etc/sudoers
Defaults env_reset
Defaults mail_badpass
Defaults secure_path="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/snap/bin"
Cmnd_Alias SHUTDOWN = /sbin/shutdown,/sbin/reboot,/sbin/halt,/sbin/poweroff
root ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL
# For specific user
musluyuksektepe ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL, !SHUTDOWN
%admin ALL=(ALL) ALL
%sudo ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL
For all users in the group
%interns ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL, !SHUTDOWN
