How to add a Windows server port

If you aim to activate the port for security policy in your software or programs that you use on your Windows server, this article will be useful. Your Windows Server version may be different, but the process is basically provided in all versions. 1- First, we access our server. Then, we search for "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" in the search section in the start menu. 2- We click on Inbound Rules. 3- We click on new rules on the screen that appears. 4- Afterwards, a new screen will appear. On this screen, we select the port option and click next. 5- Does this rule apply to TCP or UDP? A question will arise:  We select TCP and enter the port numbers we want to open in the Specific local ports section at the bottom. For example, if you want to make 321, you have to write 321. After writing, we click on the next button. 6- On the next screen, we click next without changing anything. 7- On the screen that appears, we select all the options and click next. 8- You can then enter the name in the Name section to easily find the rule in the port list. It is your choice. After giving the port name, the process will be completed with the finish button.
