Changing cPanel MX Record

You can learn how to change the MX Record in cPanel by following the steps below.

1-Log in to cPanel.

2-To add or edit an MX Record, enter the E-mail Forwarding section from the E-mail menu.

3-If there is a subdomain or add-on domain in your hosting account, you will see the domain list. We will edit our MX records on the DNS editing page by clicking on the Zone Editor link in a long blue box. If it is not already added, we will add it.

4-When you select your domain name from the Domain section, you need to choose whether you will use your mail service on a local server or a remote mail server.

5-In this step, click on the Manage button next to our domain where we will edit the mx records.

6-On the page that opens, select MX from the filter section.

7-Since we do not have any MX records, we will click on the "Add Record" button and create an MX record.

8-After creating your MX record on the screen that appears, click on the "Add record" button.

After the MX record is added successfully, you will see a warning and your record will be added.
