Centos 7 CyberPanel Installation

Hello. In this article, I will explain how to install CyberPanel on a server with Centos operating system. In addition to paid hosting panels such as CPanel and Plesk, there are also alternatively free hosting management panels in the market. In terms of both interface and functionality, CyberPanel is very popular among the hosting management panels it distributes for free.

If you wish, let's first take a look at the pros of CyberPanel.

It has a Turkish interface.
It has OpenLiteSpeed, which is the free version of LiteSpeed.
Operations such as package management, website management, and e-mail management can be carried out easily.

CyberPanel's minimum system requirements are as stated below.


A server with Centos 7.X
Python 2.7
At least 1 GB RAM
10 GB disk space
Now we will install CyberPanel step by step. Let's start.

1. We make an SSH connection to our server. Click to get more information about SSH connection. After entering our password, we will be connected to our server as root.

ssh root@youripaddress

2. If you have just created your server, it is recommended to update it. You can use the command below to update your system.

yum -y update

3. We switch to the root directory of the system.

cd ~

4. We download the CyberPanel installation file to the root directory.

wget -O installer.sh https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh

If you get an error at this step, you need to install the wget package on your system. To install the wget package;

yum install wget

5. We give read and execute permission to the installation file.

chmod 755 installer.sh

6. We run our installation file.

sh installer.sh

We will be presented with three options as follows and we will be asked to choose one. Since we want to install CyberPanel, we type 1 and press Enter.

2. Install Addons.

3.Exit.

7. A screen will appear asking which version of CyberPanel we want to install. Since we want to install the free version, we type 1 and press Enter.

1. Install CyberPanel with OpenLiteSpeed.

2. Install Cyberpanel with LiteSpeed ​​Enterprise.

3.Exit.

8. At this stage, we select the password for the admin user that we will use to log in to the panel. We are offered three alternatives. If you answer d on this screen, the admin password will be 1234567, which is the default password. If you answer r, the system will generate a random password. The last option is to answer s. If you give this answer, you will be asked to set your panel password. Select which scenario you want to apply and press Enter.

9. At this stage, the installation will begin. For installation, the location of the best server will be specified and we will be asked for approval to download the files from this location. This will shorten the installation time. We answer the question with y and press enter.

10. In this step, we will encounter a question asking for approval to pull the JS and CSS files used in the panel from JS Delivr, which provides the CDN service. We answer y to the question and press Enter.

11. In this step, you will be asked whether the Memcache application, one of the caching systems, can be installed for PHP. If you want to install it, you can answer y, if you do not want it, you can answer N and press Enter. It is recommended that you install it.

12. You will be asked whether to install the LiteSpeed ​​Memcached application. If you want to install it, you can answer y, if you do not want it, you can answer N and press Enter. It is recommended that you install it.

13. You will be asked to install the PHP extension of Redis, one of the Nosql databases. If you want to install it, you can answer y, if not, you can answer N and press Enter.

14. Consent will be requested for the installation of Redis, one of the Nosql databases. If you want to install it, you can press y, if you are not going to use Redis, you can press N and skip this step.

15. Once all selections have been made, the installation process will begin. This process may take 3-10 minutes. When the installation process is completed, you will see a screen like the one below.
