Solution to Roundcube Uncaught Error: Class 'Net_IDNA2' not found

You can follow the steps below to solve the RoundCube Uncaught Error: Class 'Net_IDNA2' not found error.

If you receive the following error while logging in via Roundcube webmail, the reason is Roundcube IDNA converter error.

This error has been fixed in RoundCube versions later than 1.3.8.

First, we remove the roundcube as seen below.

cd /usr/local/src; rm -rf roundcube*

We download the current version with the command below.

wget https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/releases/download/1.3.8/roundcubemail-1.3.8-complete.tar.gz

We install the new version we downloaded with the following command.

tar xf roundcubemail-1.3.8-complete.tar.gz; cd roundcubemail-1.3.8; bin/installto.sh /usr/local/cwpsrv/var/services/roundcube

You can try logging in via webmail again.

If you experience the same problem or a different problem, the roundcube log folder path for CWP is below.

cd /usr/local/cwpsrv/var/services/roundcube/logs/
