Solution to Php ERR CONTENT DECODING FAILED error
If you receive the ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED error when opening the website, enable Gzip compression or Zlib compression.
If you are using a custom .htaccess, add the following code to the bottom of your htaccess file.
nano .htaccess
SetEnv no-gzip1
If you get the same error on all sites or if you do not have an .htaccess file, we add the following code to the php.ini file.
On Linux, the php.ini file is usually in the /etc/php.ini folder.
nano php.ini
zlib.output_compression = On
