In systems with VMware ESXi, there is a function called Account Lock provided to increase the security of the system. If you type your password incorrectly many times while logging in to ESXi, this function will activate and prevent you from logging in later, even if your password is correct.
To disable Account Lock, follow the steps below.
To disable Accout Lock, we first log in to ESXi via the web client.
After entering, we click on the Manage button. Then, we find "Security.AccountLockFailures" from the configuration settings menu and click edit with the edit button. We record the value as 0.
After this process, the login lock will be removed. It is recommended that you make sure that your password is saved in a safe place.
