How to Create a Module with Apache

First, we use the command below to download the APache eXtenSion tool.

apxs -gn teknosos

We can create a module template with the following command.

cd teknosos
apxs -iac mod_teknosos.c

The following command will compile and perform the necessary operations for Apache to be used.

sudo nano /etc/apache2/mods-enabled

To be added:

LoadModule teknosos_module modules/mod_teknosos.so

SetHandler teknosos

Finally, we restart with the following command.

service apache2 restart
