How to connect Webmail to Outlook?

 

Establishing the Connection Between Webmail and Outlook

 

Connecting a Webmail address to Outlook is a very simple process. In this article, the connection will be established with the POP3 Port. You can follow the steps below.

 

1- We open Outlook. We write the Webmail address we want to connect on the screen that appears. Example: [email protected]

 

2- Then we select the POP option as the E-Mail provider. After selecting it, we enter the password for Webmail. At the same time, activate the Show More button at the bottom.

 

3- After entering the password, we write the mail server name required by your provider in the POP Incoming server section. You can learn your mail server name in this way:

Cpanel > E-Mail Accounts > You can see all the information from the Connect Devices section on the right side of the E-mail you will use.

 

4- For example, we wrote mail.teknosos.com. We need to enter the port for POP on the right side. We enter it as 995. The Security Connection Type will be SSL/TLS (Recommended) by default. We do not change this option.

 

5- When we go down, it will ask for the SMTP username, for example: We write our webmail address like [email protected]. Then, the SMTP password is requested right below, but this is not mandatory.

Since the password is already entered in the first stage, we leave it blank. We write 465 in the requested port section for SMTP. Similarly, we leave the Security Connection Type the same.

 

6- After filling in the relevant sections correctly, we click the Continue button.

 

7- Then, Outlook will provide the connection process. We wait for a while in the meantime.

 

8- The connection will be established. You can access your Outlook screen by clicking Continue.
