teknosos#show logging
You can view the log records in your Cisco device by using the command above.
However, if for some reason the device reboots itself, all records will be lost.
The best solution to prevent the records from being deleted is to keep the log records on another server.
Log records are collected in 8 different classes in order of importance.
Emergency: 0
Alert: 1
Critical: 2
Error: 3
Warning: 4
Notice: 5
Informational: 6
Debug:7
The ideal thing is to set the trap level to 3 or 4.
teknosos#configure terminal
teknosos(config)#logging host [IP]
teknosos(config)#logging trap [0-7]
