HomepageArticlesGeneralA new era begins in vehicle inspect...

A radical change is taking place in the vehicle inspection sector in Turkey. The tender opened for vehicle inspection stations in Turkey was won by the MOI Joint Venture Group. The MOI Joint Venture Group established a new company called TURKA for vehicle inspection operations in Türkiye.
Vehicle inspection operations carried out with the TÜVTÜRK brand since 2005 will now be carried out by the TURKA brand established by the MOU Joint Venture Group.

Initially, 249 stations will be implemented
TURKA will take over vehicle inspection operations from TÜVTÜRK on August 15, 2027. It is planned to start operating with 249 stations in 2027. The number of stations needed will be determined and increased through evaluations to be made every 5 years.

A dealership system will be implemented in order to increase the number of stations. The necessary conditions for dealership applications have been published on Turka.com.

There will be various tests for driving safety and electric vehicles
TURKA Executive Board Member Serhan Salman said that they will establish an automation-oriented structure by taking the vehicle inspection culture in Türkiye further. He also said, "We are setting out by saying new generation vehicle inspection. Our priority will be the satisfaction of vehicle owners in the innovations we will make in accordance with the permission of the Ministry and in compliance with legal regulations." Salman also informed that they will create test programs for driving safety and electric vehicles in line with the developments in the transforming automotive sector.

Vehicle inspection stations can be transformed into field hospitals
Stating that they plan their investments by determining the number and types of vehicles in all provinces, Salman continued as follows:

"We will create a living system. We are conducting studies that predict the number of vehicles in Türkiye and the inspections that these vehicles will need until 2047. Thus, we can determine the station models needed. We are not only establishing stations. All of these stations are designed to transform into field hospitals in the event of a disaster. We are also establishing a sustainable system based on renewable energy. We will provide employment opportunities for 4,500 people and work especially on women's employment."
